After years of living in Norway, my legs have grown lean and strong — not from hours at the gym, but because here, walking is simply a way of life. You step outside, and the world pulls you in — up mountain trails, along sparkling fjords, across blooming meadows, and over wooden footbridges suspended above bottomless lakes. The southwest of Norway is a land where the air is clear as glacial glass, where cliffs rise like cathedrals into the sky, and mountain rivers rush downward as if racing to greet the ocean. Standing on the edge of a cliff, you feel part of something vast: below lies the silent blue of a fjord that has seen more than any book ever written. Here, the wind doesn’t just blow — it sings. It tells stories of Viking ships slipping out of quiet bays, of centuries-old lives lived in harmony with this wild and majestic land. Craving stillness? You’ll find a secluded cabin by the water, where it’s just you, the crackling fire, and a view that stretches into forever. Seeking movement? Hike to Trolltunga, climb the 4,444 steps of the Flørli staircase, or paddle a kayak through towering cliffs that close in like ancient stone guardians. Norway is not just a place. It’s a state of being — one where strength fills your legs, the wind clears your thoughts, and freedom settles deep in your heart.

DAY 1 — Stavanger
Start your day with fresh local pastries at Bøker og Børst, then take a stroll through the charming streets of Old Stavanger. Step into the Norwegian Petroleum Museum (Norsk Oljemuseum) — one of the most modern and visually striking museums in the country. Enjoy a walk along the harbor, past fishing boats and yachts, and stop for lunch at Fisketorget, where seafood is served right by the water. In the afternoon, take a boat trip through Lysefjord — with unforgettable views of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) from the water. End your day with sunset cocktails at the rooftop bar of the Clarion Hotel — from the 14th floor, all of Stavanger unfolds before you.
DAY 2 - Preikestolen
Begin the morning with a trip to the fjord and a hike to one of Norway’s most breathtaking viewpoints - Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). An 8 km rocky trail will lead you to a natural platform suspended 604 meters above Lysefjord. Up there, you’ll find a silence so profound it seems to absorb even the wind - and a view that steals your breath: a mirror-still fjord, mountains stretching into forever, and a sky painted like a watercolor. It’s a stage where nature performs its masterpiece. After the descent, enjoy a slow lunch by the water - or stop by a café along the shore, where the taste of the meal lingers like the deep calm you’ll carry with you for days.
